As we age, the structure of our skin changes. Aging skin loses collagen and elastin, which keep skin firm and fresh.

Aging skin also loses the ability to shed dead skin cells and thus refresh the surface cells. This results in a dull complexion.

Signs of aging skin:

Deep folds (jowls, laugh lines, frown lines, marionette lines)

Fine lines and wrinkles (between the eyebrows, on the forehead, under and around the eyes and mouth)

Brown age spots, due to accumulation of melanin from sun damage
