Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
First in a series.
There are many recommended skin care habits universally deemed “good” for you.
But, sometimes you may have too much of a good thing.
According to the Skincare-news.com team,
some “good” skin care habits may actually be more detrimental than helpful.
Habit: Adhering to the Same Skin Care Routine
Daily routines of cleansing and moisturizing are vital
for maintaining healthy skin and avoiding clogged pores,
breakouts and thirsty skin.
BUT:
While consistency is key, it can lead to
lackluster skin and little to no improvement
because your skin becomes used to the same products.
SO:
Change Your Routine!
Try a higher concentration of ingredients.
If a topical treatment with 2.5 percent benzoyl peroxide
isn’t doing the trick for your acne,
try one with 5 percent.
If a cleanser with 15 percent glycolic acid still leaves your skin looking dull,
try one with 20 percent.
Have you noticed this?
Tell me your experience in the comment box.
Listen to your skin and adjust for the seasons as necessary.
Better yet, ask your aesthetician at Ageless Remedies SouthPark!
