Ageless Remedies Med Spa and Laser Center’s Staff Featured!

Here’s what owner Elaine Greenberg says about the staff in Skin Inc.:

Our staff is the best.

They take pride in their accomplishments and so do we, the owners…
Everybody has a stake in the overall team performance.

Every Friday morning, we have a staff meeting.
Everyone is required to attend—estheticians, physician, front desk staff,
spa manager, owner/marketing director.
The agenda may be educational, keeping us all on the cutting edge
of technological developments, or open discussions about what we can do better
as a team…

Furthermore, product reps often come (with lunch) to present a new line
or review or update us on one we already carry.
Manufacturer reps/trainers come so we are up-to-date on laser
and IPL protocols. We offer microdermabrasion, chemical peels,
fractional laser skin rejuvenations, laser vein treatment
and laser hair removal. Additionally, everyone is encouraged
to use all the products so we can experience the results first-hand.

However, the most popular(events) are the quarterly celebrations.
When we have a successful quarter, we party.
We go out and eat, drink, and have a great time!

Soooo proud and happy!

Spring Renewal

3 Ways To Refresh Your Face For Spring

As seen on The Doctors, these 3 non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures
can clear the cobwebs, buff ,and shine the face for a fresh spring look.

1. Clear Out Those Cobwebs (Spider Veins)

Spider veins that appear on the face may not be painful
but they can be unsightly.

Luckily, they are also quite easy to treat with the right laser.

2. Buff Away Peach Fuzz: Dermaplane!

Do you have peach fuzz on your face? Many of us do.

By removing this fine facial hair, other treatments are more effective.
Removal of peach fuzz will not cause it to grow back thicker or darker.

It’s great to have this done before the final step:

3. Shine

Think of this as achieving a healthy glow:
Chemical Peels or Fractional Laser Skin Rejuvenation.

Have these procedures done during lunch and return to work
looking refreshed and ready for spring!

Non-invasive

Little to no down-time

Anti-Aging and…Water???

Just drink water to look like me!

The Secret to Beautiful Skin?

Here’s what Deborah Chase just posted in her “No Nonsense Beauty Blog”:

Its hard to pick up a newpaper or magazine without reading of another celebrity  who credits her  good looks to-wait for it- drinking  plenty of water.  For example Kim Kardashian   has admitted to  extensive laser hair removal (” hey, I’m Armenian”) and  posted  photos of her post- Botox bruises.

Yet in an interview she credits her luminous skin and incredible body to drinking water.

Now I have nothing against water but its not the fountain  of youth.  I drink it every day and in fact I  especially like Poland Spring water  which is from a real  spring and not  just filtered  reservoir water.  And I can understand that iconic beauties don’t want to reveal their use of Botox, fillers, lasers or even IPL.

But why  can’t they  share some  real beauty advice that is safe and affordable such as   Retin A, glycolic peels or microdermabrasion.

Something more honest than water.

 Ageless Elaine couldn’t agree more.

What Do You Think?

Ageless Elaine,
Your Anti-Aging Expert

who definitely drinks a lot of water
(my favorite is Pellegrino because it reminds of my years in Italy)
but also loves her Botox, fillers, peels, and fractional laser treatments…

Where Do You Draw the Line?

Are you conflicted about having “stuff done?”

Med spas exist to help you look your best.
Do you color your hair?
Wear make-up?
I think it’s just human to be concerned about our appearance.
It’s also human to appreciate beauty.

Dr. Mark Berman says: In almost everything we perceive and enjoy,
beauty is a virtue…(It) pleases us to look at physically
attractive things.
And that is the virtue of beauty:
It makes us happy.
We don’t condemn people for taking care of their health or
their bodies…And far from condemning the ‘vanity’ of fashion,
we glorify it.

Right on, doc!

Am I vain?
Isn’t it okay to want to be happy?
And looking my best makes me happy.
How about you?

What do you think?

Facials are okay — Expensive skin care products cross the line?
Chemical peels are fine – Botox crosses the line?
Laser hair removal is great — Laser facial treatments cross the line?

Where do you draw the line?
And why?

Focus on Your Eyes!

Everyone Else Does

Want to look younger or less tired?
Focus on the area around your eyes…
because that’s where people get visual clues
about your age and level of fatigue.

When asked to estimate the age of people in photographs,
participants…looked at the eye region
almost half the time, researchers found.

The eye region makes up just 21% of the face,
according to the study authors.
So why does it seem to reveal so much?

“There is a lot going on around the eyes,” Rubin said.
For one thing, eyelids are the thinnest skin on the body,
making swelling more prominent.
Also, he said, the eye region undergoes many changes
during aging and suffers from significant sun damage.

“Beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder…
It’s also in the eye of the beholdee.”

Why go to a med spa?

  • Anti-aging products and treatments for the eye area
    are plentiful at med spas.
  • Experienced aestheticians customize your care
so you get the best results.
  • No surgery, no significant down-time.  (My personal favorite.)

Little changes can make a big difference.
