Cavewomen Wore Make-Up

I couldn’t make this up (no pun intended).

Paleontologist Dr. Joao Zilhao told the BBC that he discovered yellow pigment for foundation and crushed red pigments for blush.  He was also certain that they carried shell cosmetic bags!

Beth Cooney Fitzpatrick (in Spai News loves the idea of “the original mineral make-up: crushed berries for lip stain, flower petal eyeshadow.  Just add a new animal skin and you’re good to go!”

You’re laughing.  Well, check out what StyleList reported last September in a post “It’s a Modern Stone Age Fashion Week.”

Flintstones Jeremy Scott

Designer Jeremy Scott sent fashion “back to Brontosaurus Burgers for his London Fashion Week Show.”  His collection was all about caveman chic.

For once, I don’t know what to say.
What do you think?

Ageless is one thing, but this is ridiculous.
Yours,
Ageless Elaine
